Marco Bellini was awarded the “Prof. Luigi Tartufari” international prize for Physics-Chemistry by the prestigious Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei in Rome.
On November 7th, the prestigious Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei, the world’s oldest scientific academy and one of Italy’s highest cultural institutions, founded in 1603 and counting Galileo Galilei among its first members, awarded Marco Bellini the “Prof. Luigi Tartufari” international prize for Physics-Chemistry.
The motivation for the award cites the wide range of topics covered by Marco Bellini’s scientific activity, which has seen pioneering contributions in ultrafast, highly nonlinear and quantum optics.
