Larger noiseless amplification



Different combinations of the photon addition and subtraction operators can be effective in noiselessly amplifying coherent states of light with larger amplitudes.

In contrast to previous studies, our work provides efficient schemes to implement a noiseless amplifier for light fields with medium and large amplitudes. Moreover, we show that a sequence of two photon additions can be useful for amplifying superpositions of coherent states.
